Steps

Pit the dates.

Finely chop the chocolate and grind the almonds in a food processor.

Add the dates, nut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt and grind until a sticky dough forms.

Add the finely chopped chocolate and mix well into the dough.

Wet your hands and shape the mixture into 16 balls.

The balls can be eaten immediately, but they are even firmer after a few hours in the fridge.
